What is a test plan?

A test plan is a capsule that contains a number of requirements, specifically the requirements regarding the functionality of the system.

  • System Verification Requirements
  • Technical Verification Requirements
  • Incidents

Test Plan Structure

These requirements can have one or more test runs associated with them in the current test plan.

Running a Test Plan

Test plans can be run by clicking the "Run" button in the top right corner of the test plan view. This will start a new test run for each requirement in the test plan.

Notes

Test runs can always be created outside the structure of the test plan as well. Test plans are optional structures that can be used to organize test runs and requirements. They are not required for creating test runs or requirements.
